Description:

New "Econo Series" King Cobra Clutch Kit.  Fits all 1986-95 Ford Mustang 5.0L 157T Flywheels.  Works in most 5.0L T-5 bellhousings. However, if a "Raised Lip" is featured at the bottom of the Starter Pocket and continues down towards the bottom of the bellhousing, the O.D. of Pressure Plate may rub.  It is important to take a dremmel and cut down this "raised lip" by about 10mm.  We have seen most of the bellhousings that have a "raised lip" are from 1989-90 Ford Mustang 5.0L. However, one cannot be sure in some cases if the bellhousing that is installed is truly what came with the car when purchased new. Please always look for the Casting Flaw from the manufacturer before installing to address.
